Because I’m not sure what else could explain their pathetic second half against Villanova this afternoon at the Big East Tournament. After taking a 28-27 lead into the halftime break, the Orange were completely dismantled in the second stanza as they got outscored by the Wildcats 55-35.
And I thought the Big East had a reputation for being a tough, defensive league. Apparently, the `Cuse, who is no longer in the Big Dance house, completely missed that memo.
