Denis Clemente Is Better Than You At H-O-R-S-E

What we have here is Kansas State guard Denis Clemente demonstrating his mad H-O-R-S-E skills with a shot even Larry Bird and Michael Jordan would envy. This video, which was posted in July, is finally making the blog rounds, and rightfully so. Clemente’s shot was indeed awesome. I wonder, however, how Frank Martin would feel if Clemente launched one of these during K-State’s showdown with Kansas in Manhattan — a game that will play host to ESPN’s College Gameday?
Hell, if it went in against the Jayhawks and the Wildcats somehow managed to win, Clemente would be all over the highlight shows and his fame would no longer be restricted to viral Internet hits. Perhaps Martin could employ Clemente’s fabulous ball-bouncing skills in one of their out-of-bounds plays. If you drew it up correctly, the “off the scoreboard” play could lead to a nasty alley-oop jam.
And then where would we be? Other coaches following in Martin’s footsteps, that’s where. However, considering the sheer awesome-ness of Clemente’s shot, would that be such a bad thing?

That was pretty n-a-s-t-y. Yes indeed, Larry Legend and His Airness would be proud
