So much for that number 1 seed in the Big Dance, right, Kansas? I don’t think two-out-of-three losses to the state of Texas (save that institution in Austin) is the best way to make your case top seeding selections, is it? Baylor deserves all the credit for playing like a team who’s survival depends on them winning the whole Big 12 enchilada.

Kansas, on the other hand, needs to regroup as they head into next week’s real tournament. Losing two out of three is not the way a coach likes to enter such a high-stakes contest. The Bears were led by LaceDarius Dunn, who hit six 3-pointers on his way to 24 big points.
