To many, the upcoming announcement from Indiana University concerning the future of Kelvin Sampson is just a formality. However, according to the same site that broke the “he’s fired” news, Sampson is facing an immediate suspension, but there’s been no leak concerning his long-term employment with the school.

According to numerous sources (ESPN, Fox Sports, Yahoo Sports), IU is expected to announce Sampson’s punishment this afternoon.

And of course, we’ll be back with the Indiana administration’s decision… You know, I’m still surprised by all the “He’s fired. Finally.” talk that’s been going around. I guess I’m just naive towards the ills of all things Sampson.
