WTH Is Going On Here?!?!

I’m sorry if this was covered elsewhere, but I have no idea what in the hell is going on here. At the recent Tennessee/Xavier game, there was mascot “incident” that I really can’t describe. Excuse me for my ignorance, but I know the Vols don’t use a big-ass bass as their mascot and neither do the Xavier Musketeers (although, I’m not sure what purpose their Blue Blob serves… are we borrowing from Western Kentucky?).

Anyway, here’s the vid. If anyone can come up with a reasonable explanation, I’m all ears.
