Damien Berry Is Coming for Georgia Tech

After a thrilling win over rival Florida State, you could say the confidence level of the Miami Hurricanes is high, especially for running back Damien Berry. Berry took to everyone’s favorite social media device — Twitter — to express his feelings about the Georgia Tech/Miami game, which takes place tomorrow night. The results were enjoyable, provided you don’t have a sensitive reaction to profanity-laced slang. Just in case Randy Shannon gets wind of this and has Berry delete his boasting, we’ve screenshotted the whole thing, for your enjoyment, of course.
Like Orson over at EDSBS (via the 7th Floor), it’s hard not to get captivated by Berry’s use of the phrase “get your fuck mind rite,” because it’s absolute gold. I’m not sure about you, but whenever I make way out into the world, if my “fuck mind” isn’t “rite,” I’m not equipped to handle the day.
In other news, if Berry’s attitude offers an insight to the rest of his teammates, chances are, Georgia Tech is going to have a hard time executing the option they so rely on. If the Hurricanes can contain the Wreck’s running game and make Josh Nesbitt throw the ball — Nesbitt was 3-14 with two interceptions against Clemson last week — you have to like their chances.
Of course, stopping Georgia Tech from running the ball, when you, I, and everybody else watching knows they are going to do it, and yet, they still run successfully, is another story altogether.
