Dicky Lyons Jr

Everybody’s favorite Caucasian sensation at wide receiver — Dicky Lyons Jr — is done for the season after tearing two ligaments in his knee against South Carolina on Saturday.

The knee injury represents a sad ending to Lyons’ colorful career, one that will be remembered by Kentucky fans for this particular block on LSU safety Craig Steltz during Kentucky’s win over LSU last season. For non-Kentucky fans, Lyons will be remembered for his silly eccentricities and the Daily Dicky — a video web report on UKAthletics.com.

This HURTS! One of my all-time favorite Cats. I love his spirit, his committment to this team, and his cockiness. Never backed down from anyone. And that aforementioned hit on Steltz was SICK!. OMG dude. That was a great birthday present. Thanks for the memories DL Jr.! The C-A-T Nation will miss you dearly.

    yikes much

Oh yes please. Take the best receiver from a team that needs receivers “badder than a hog needs slop,” to quote Richard Pryor. That shouldn’t have any impact on Kentucky’s season.

Maybe Randall Cobb can throw it to himself.
