Overtime SEC Football Is Fantastic

As I was working to update the copy on our SEC Football pages, I came across this gem of a post from Ethanator. It’s a countdown of the top 5 overtime football games in the SEC and it’s perfect way to prepare yourself for the season, which is only 22 days away. It’s also a perfect way to get yours truly in the team preview mindset.
The order is as follows:
5. Tennessee vs. LSU 2005
4. Arkansas vs. Ole Miss 2001
3. Georgia vs. Auburn 1996
2. Arkansas vs. Kentucky 2003
1. LSU vs. Kentucky 2007
That’s right, UK’s victory over LSU last season is the top overtime game in SEC history. After the Curtis Pulley stupidity, any good news concerning UK football (an oxymoron at times) will be welcomed with open arms.

As a diehard Ga. fan, do you know where I could purchase a copy of the 1096 Ga-Auburn overtime game?I’ve tried multiple Ga. websites and even posted a request with no luck.
I missed the game (great disappointment with J. Donnan’s hiring) and have been dying to see it in its entirety. This is the 1st time I’ve even seen any footage of the game!!
Any guidance or help in steering me to a viable source would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks,
G. Higbee
PS Loved the 5-video SEC show!! Can’t wait til late August..

I have the same problem with Kentucky basketball games, but, if found a couple of tapers on the Rivals forums who transfer their work to DVD. Unfortunately, this isn’t exactly what you are looking for, although, because the SEC doesn’t like to sell games, this is about the best I can do.
I’ve had the best luck at the various team-related forums.
