…And turns it in as evidence against Roger Clemens. Or at least, that’s what it looks like, anyway.
Not sure what the beer can represents… Maybe it’s a study in modern art. Call it, “Today’s Baseball Player.” I think I can see why the Clemens defense team doesn’t think this will warrant much of response. However, they did indicate they would only give a DNA sample is if they were compelled by federal authorities.
Fortunately for our entertainment, McNamee representative Earl Ward channeled Johnny Cochran in his response to the media and decided to rhyme some stuff:
“Roger Clemens has put himself in a position where his legacy as the greatest pitcher in baseball will depend less on his ERA and more on his DNA.“
