Roger Clemens Maintains His Innocence

7-time Cy Young award winner, Roger Clemens got his opportunity to tell his side of things concerning the infamous Mitchell Report. After a five-hour deposition given to congressional lawyers, Clemens indicated he stuck to his denials that he never used HGH or steroids to further his accolade-ridden career.
Nice haircut, Roger.
Up next for the Rocket is a February 13th appointment with the same committee. Also expected to testify on that day are Andy Pettitte and Brian McNamee. ESPN indicates this session will be open, unlike yesterday’s. If that is the case, expect the sparks to fly when these three square off with a list of prepared denials and the like.
Good times are definitely coming.
