As we documented, a lot of athletes are riding Obama’s wave, and again, social change will do that. Washington guard Gilbert Arenas joined in the celebration, but his was done with permanent ink. Arenas indicated he got new tattoos to celebrate Obama’s election, but now we have a picture, courtesy of NBC Washington (and a bunch of blogs).
Gilbert’s fingers believe in change. How about yours?

Is that change we can believe in?

Most certainly. Here’s some potential changes you can believe in as well. My address. I’m looking at New Zealand at the moment.

Hey People- I’m a white, middle-aged chick who thinks Arenas is pretty cool. Why are ya’ll so hateful about his follow through w/the tattoo when he made a commitment abt it? He should be an inspiration to kids and adults who are paying attention, just for his hard work and integrity, like Obama is to him!
Yeah, he’s been out and I want him back on the court, too- but at least he’s using his celebrity for good and not some ignorant, hateful messages.
