Hey guys,
Thanks for linking back to my article. I understand that Smith played a prominent role in that ugly Nuggets-Knicks brawl back in December of '06, but you have to understand that people mature - it's been two years since that happened. He also played on a team that had leadership issues, a coach that lost control of the team, and two guys (AI and Melo) who were pretty much playing HORSE every time up the floor. Denver had all the talent in the world, but they had no direction, and Smith was one of the guys who suffered.

In Cleveland, he'll have a clearly defined role playing alongside a clearly defined leader. There will be no problems in Cleveland as long as King James has a presence, and as combative as Smith is and can be, I doubt he's the kind of guy who has it in him to butt heads with The King himself.

But we'll see. It's not like Ferry is going to get off his ass and get anything done any time soon to begin with.
