Manu Ginobili Pimp Slaps Wade’s Lay Up

While the grind of the NBA is in full swing, games like these might go unnoticed. What once was a potential NBA Finals preview is now just Miami versus San Antonio. The game should have been billed as Dwyane Wade versus the Big Three of San Antonio, because that’s the perception each team provides. Is Miami more than Wade? Absolutely, much like the Spurs are more than just Duncan, Parker and Ginobili, but this is what the paying public recognizes.
That’s also why Ginobili’s block of the Dwyane Wade lay up was one of the memorable plays from last night’s game. Furthermore, when a game is decided by seven points (91-84), missed or blocked lay ups can make all the difference in the world.
