At a press conference held in Manhattan, Kansas, Michael Beasley revealed what everybody in the free sports world thought he would: he will be leaving the college ranks to ply his considerable basketball trade in the National Basketball Association.

Shocking, right?

Although, he says he’ll miss being in college, his decision to enter the NBA is an absolute no-brainer. The only question concerning Beasley is will he be the first pick overall or will that distinction fall to Derrick Rose (provided Rose goes pro)?
