Kobe, Pierce

While our friends at MixMakers.net aren’t really fans of Paul Pierce or the Celtics, even they have to be happy about tonight’s Game 3 of the NBA Finals — even if the team from Boston is involved. So what can we expect tonight? Is Kobe going to go off as he tries to:

A. Keep LA’s season alive and
B. Answer Curt Schilling’s criticisms?

Or is this the night Boston takes a commanding 3-0 lead in the series? Will the calls start going LA’s way tonight or will Boston’s inside advantage cause LA to continue fouling as it tries to stop KG, Perkins, Powe and the gang? Having seemingly answered their road woe questions against Detroit, the Celtics are in a position to grab the Finals by the throat. Will they capitalize or revert back to their play during the Atlanta series?

So many questions and too much time until tip-off. Oh well, I’ve waited this long. Three more hours shouldn’t hurt too bad.

Coverage begins on ABC at 8:30/7:30 Central.
