The NBA’s MVP award is about to be handed out, and from the looks of it, King James and Kobe Mamba are the only two worth discussing — provided you take Vitamin Water’s side of things — sorry Dwight and Dwyane. Maybe next year. So who ya got? Bryant or James? Kobe or LeBron? Mamba or Chosen One? From where I’m sitting, if LeBron doesn’t win in a veritable landslide, the voters weren’t watching as closely as they should. Yes, Kobe was again his brilliant basketball-playing self — off the court, that’s for you to decide — but he didn’t have kind of “this is my league” season James did.
