Bikini GirlsApparently, number 4’s retirement may not as binding as some might think… at least according to his agent, Bus Cook (Bus Cook? Really?)

“It’s my opinion,” Cook said of the Packers’ lack of interest. “I know he wants to play one more year. I do not know much conversation there was (between Favre and the Packers) and I don’t think anyone forced him to make that decision. But I don’t know that anyone tried to talk him out of it.”

Is this a ray of hope for Packers fans or just more of the same stringing along?

If this is correct, maybe the Randy Moss thing had more to do with Favre’s retirement than we’ll ever know (Favre denied the lack of Moss was what motivated him to retire).

Bus Cook is also Moss’ agent.

    Greyhound Chef?

Eh…chalk it up to the collective, “say it ain’t so, Brett!” I don’t think he would threaten retirement to push the team into any type of move, roster or otherwise. Anyway, most sane Packer fans were prepared for this news three seasons ago.

No, I don’t think he’d turn to threats to get free agents either… the only thing that makes this even worth questioning is the timing. But, if we take Brett at his word that it was a Super Bowl or bust type of situation, then it’s a little easier to understand.

Welcome to the Big Leagues, Aaron Rodgers.
