Yesterday, Martellus Bennett tweeted something about touring the new $1.5 billion stadium for the Dallas Cowboys. The video in question is now live, and while the stadium does indeed look like modern marvel of sports venues, there a few things that stand out, as you can see in the lead image. When asked about his thoughts on building such a facility, Jones indicates the new stadium will help capture the mystique of the Dallas Cowboys.
Looking at the menu prices at one of the concession stands, I’m left with this thought: Apparently, expressing mystique costs. A lot. A whole hell of a lot, to be exact. Lets review:
Bottled Water – $5
Souvenir Soft Drink – $6
Draft Beer – $9
Smirnoff Ice, MGD, Miller Lite – $8
And that, folks, is just for drinks. They also have $5 fries and $3 bags of chips. And we haven’t even mentioned the $14 beef sandwich. Needless to say, if you want to enjoy the legend of the Dallas Cowboys, be prepared to spend during said enjoyment. A second mortgage is advisable if you are bringing the whole family.
If not that, perhaps you should try selling your kidney on the black market. Maybe then, you’ll have enough coin to enjoy Jerry Jones’ idea of Dallas Cowboys heaven.

Holy shit!
That is kind of crazy, but really, everything is dirty expensive at football games. My crappy stadium has $7.50 beers. I think it sounds like a lot outside of a football stadium, but once inside it’s not much more than the others.
But the other stadiums will have teams that win.
