Touché Xavier. I think it was the time of day I saw the clip. Truth be known, I'm really not a big Bobby Knight fan, I just remember all those incidents with reporters. And there was just something about his one that set me wrong. When I watch it again, I'll probably feel a little differently about his line of questioning.

It's you. None of the questions that were asked that havne't been stirred up before by who...Chad Johnson. It's not like Chad didn't have a clue what he was in for when he was asked to do the interview. To get his web shows that he is gonna be in, he had no problem answering the first part of the questions. I think when a reporter goes over the line is when they adlib to the answer that might be given. I have a problem when reporters flat out lie about what was said. Chad could have easily said no to the answer just to get the ball rolling but instead he chose to let the Bengals know he still isn't happy. Bobby Knight is just a miserable old bastard. Yeah I said it. Sure he knows the game of basketball.

And you wonder why Bobby Knight dislikes reporters so much. The first part of the inteview, this reporter for ESPN was wanting to stir up a hullabaloo on trying to get Chad to say something negative about his team. Granted, Chad has said enough in the past, but this guy would not let it go. That may be his job, but popular athletes need to be emotionally and psychologically strong to not let knucleheads like this under his skin. I particularly liked the "Well, that wasn't necessarily a Yes or No answer.." Is it just me, or did anyone else think the reporter's questioning during the first part was a little over the top? You go Bobby Knight!!
