This is not a repeat. Larry Johnson is in some trouble again, and it’s for pretty much the same reason as the last LJ post we had here: nightclubs, alcohol and putting his hands on women. As you can see in the above image, Johnson is no stranger to the Kansas City nightlife, but for some reason, he seems to find himself in some drama just about every time he goes out.
Last week, his drama had to do with stiff-arming an unwanted advance and now, he’s in some more trouble following the Chiefs bye-week; but before we get into that, I have a question:
If the Tennessee game was the best you can do after a week off, why bother even putting a team on the field?
OK, back to LJ. The Kanas City Star has more on his new round of nightclubbing troubles:
[Johnson] reportedly was involved in a late-night altercation with a woman during the team’s bye weekend. Charges have not been filed.
Chiefs president Carl Peterson acknowledged Johnson’s latest brush with trouble, an altercation separate from the February incident for which he’ll face simple-assault charges at a December court appearance.
Hey Larry, a word of advice — how about staying the hell out of Kansas City nightclubs. I mean, the nightlife in KC isn’t bad at all, but I don’t think it’s worth jeopardizing your NFL paycheck to enjoy it. Just a thought.
