As far as Portis not being fined, maybe even Goddell realizes there are times when the League should back the hell off its usual SOP. Don't wait for the players' union to complain. This isn't the NBA or even MLB when it comes to labor relations. Excessive celebration penalties should be wiped out; let the cornerback who gets lit up for a 40-yard score handle that the next time they play.
