Ladies, just because you might be preggers doesn’t mean you can’t support your (or you husband’s) football team any longer. Proving there’s no money they aren’t attracted to, the NFL has partnered with Motherhood Maternity and will begin offering team-specific maternity t-shirts. For only $25 ($24.98 to be exact), you and your bump can show off your team allegiance in style, instead of relying on over-sized t-shirts and dad’s XXL jerseys.

I can’t help but smile at the exuberance in the press release — statements like “can show her colors all season long” and “at $24.98, everyone is a winner!” — but the NFL is now a cultural phenomenon and if there’s a demand for team-specific maternity shirts, you can bet Roger Goodell and his crew will jump all over it. There is one caveat for Toronto residents who’ve grown attached to idea of perhaps adopting the Buffalo Bills: these shirts aren’t available in Canada, which is kind of weird considering the NFL’s willingness to play games in northern part of North America.

Of course, shirts like these also give fathers a chance to indoctrinate mom and soon-to-be newborn into their world of NFL obsession — kicking and screaming if necessary.
