Tiki interviews Eli after the game for the Today Show:

Maybe it’s me, but you can detect a sense of mocking from Meredith Vieira… something like, “Ha ha, Tiki. You have to interview your old teammates who just won without you.” His reaction to her congratulations was impressive as well. You can almost feel Tiki gritting his teeth with such force, they risked being pulverized into powder.

Addition by subtraction. Tiki disrupts most of last season with his antics, then puts out a book ripping his team: boo hoo I wasn’t having any f-f-fun playing for Coughlin.

Result: Brandon Jacobs, Ahmad Bradshaw, Derek Ward all got to play without Tiki around. Tiki may remember himself as a great Giants running back, but until Coughlin came along and Tiki quit putting the ball on the ground, he was even more frustrating to fans than pre-Pats Eli, and that’s saying something.

Shockey can’t be real happy that the team came together after he broke his leg. He’s got a heavy rep for being a pain in the ass despite his talent. I won’t be surprised to see him cut.

Tiki has a media career, but all the Giants who stuck around now have a Super Bowl title. Eli ought to offer to send Tiki a picture of his ring once they’ve been handed out.

It would’ve made my day if Eli said something like, “we won this for you, Tiki.” That would’ve been just keen.

Chris, that would have been awesome. Tiki might have strangled himself with the mike cord on the spot.

I wish Eli had some something like ‘my leadership is Comical? Do I amuse you? Is it comical like a clown?’
