Super Bowl: Willie Andrews Update

Yesterday, we mentioned the Willie Andrews’ arrest for driving an unregistered vehicle and the possession of marijuana. When the post was written, there were whispers of there being a considerable amount in Andrews’ possession and guess what? There was.

According to Fox Sports, Andrews had a 1/2 pound of the illegal plant in his vehicle, meaning it was apparently party time for the New England DB/Special Teams player. I don’t think that much weed qualifies as “personal use,” but that’s just me.

Andrews was also charged with intent to distribute, obviously a much stronger charge than mere possession.
