To correct D-Juan’s comment, this post was written LAST season (2008), when Kitna was in fact still with the Lions. This season, he’s with the Cowboys, not the Eagles.

That’s a great analogy. What’s even worse is, the Mike Browns have the offensive talent to win some games. True, the defense lacks as does the offensive line. But that does not excuse that inept performance on Saturday.

Im from st louis, and i know the worst team in the league is the st louis rams.

Ive been watching for the last three years waiting for them to improve even alittle, but they just keep getting worse.

Their defense never improves, and their offense has gone from greatest show on turf, to pray for a touchdown today.

I just cant wait for April, to see this years franchise savior, like every year.

I’d give the nod to the Bungals. The Eagles are a Super Bowl contender and the Broncos could be a playoff team. If the Ravens win eight games it will be a great accomplishment.

In defense of the Lions — at least they can score the football. The teams I picked couldn’t even do that. I also believe all three team would have lost if they played Detroit on Sunday, simply because I don’t think any of the three would be able to stop Detroit from scoring.

With Stewart, Williams, Kitna and Megatron, the Lions have more weapons than any of the above teams. I mean, St Louis had only EIGHT first downs. The Lions had 21. So again, based on the first week, I still say the teams I picked are worse than the Lions.

But there’s still time for Detroit to correct this distinction.
