Michael Jordan Broke A Backboard Too

Just in time for the NBA Playoffs, this find comes courtesy of NESW Sports and it features Air Supremacy going in for one of his trademark kiss-the-rim style leaner dunks that he made oh so popular. Only this time, the backboard comes down with him.
And you thought Mike just personified grace and beauty when he was flying through the air. He went to the rim with a little bit of power as well, contrary to the belief set forth in the Dominique/Michael dunk-off from 1988.

I can’t believe this is the first time I have ever saw this. I feel like a Mars Blackmon when Mike dunk on him as he hung from the rim and the ball went in his gut.

you can’t believe it because you shouldn’t; it’s bullshit. that’s not jordan. someone’s lame attempt at trolling for web traffic.

G, your rationale seems to be “I’ve never heard of it so it can’t be true,” which means that’s Sherlock Holmes-level deduction. There’s little doubt that the person dunking the ball is Jordan — or have you not seen that happen very often?
Now is the video doctored? Could be because it does stand to reason we would have seen this before now. As for the lame accusation about web traffic, well, make sure you go to all the other blogs who featured this video and tell them same.
Isn’t that one of the aims of a blog? To generate readership?
Thank you for yours.

Aw, man. I miss caring about professional basketball. That video was awesome though — nice soundtrack.

Sooze suggested it might be a Nike viral vid. That makes perfect sense and it fits what G says.

Actually, Tuffy suggested it may be a nike viral ad. Whoever created it — possibly a team of scientists in a lab with beakers and such — did a fabulous job.

Whoever suggested it and whether it’s real or viral, it’s awesome. I think we can all agree there… well, maybe not G.
