Because of a brilliant push by Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman captured the 50th Daytona 500… and he decided to bring a whole lot of smoke to the celebration. Restrictor-Plate This has a great wrap-up of Sunday’s kick-off of the 2008 NASCAR season.

Only saw the last two laps and yes, that was teamwork at it’s finest. Newman ftw and a nice assist by Busch. I still do not understand why they have NASCAR’s version of a major so early in the season though. But, that’s cool. Nice win….Newman ( in my best Seinfeld voice).
