It's the same thing publications like WebProNews faced, however, without all of the vitriol. "How dare they cover the same things we at CNN are. How dare they do it as well or better?"

I watched some of PTI yesterday and their list of subjects EXACTLY mirrored things you'd read about in any sports blog RSS feed: Tyler Hansbrough jumping off of buildings, Chris Paul for MVP, LeBron missing that shot and GWB's shot a Jessica Simpson.

After that, Sportscenter pretty much led with Mindy McCready. These are the same things Tafoya would've found on Deadspin or TBL or wherever the hell she looked.

So what's the difference between us doing it and her employer? Folks like Daulerio are little more abrasive when they write, but so what. Does every piece of consumable medium have to be sanitized for the Disney crowd?

And with the Mike and Mike thing you referenced, well, at least you could HEAR Golic getting fat again...

I'd like to know how Tafoya gets away with wasting a segment on Tirico's oatmeal paste meal of a radio show complaining about her pet peeves. Hey Michele, I've got a pet peeve. Look in a mirror to see it. Oooh.

Talk radio, be it sports, political, or anything else, is a form of blogging. It's aural rather than textual, but listen to a typical ESPN radio show. The only differences are the format and the access to sports athletes and coaches. That's it.

Mike and Mike had an eating contest on air today. What's that got to do with how the Giants drafted last weekend?
