Goose Gossage Finds Baseball Hall of Fame
Tuesday, January 8th, 2008The man with the mustache, Rich “Goose” Gossage, became only the fifth ever relief pitcher to be elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. It was Gossage’s ninth year of eligibility. Goose, known as a hard-throwing fastballer, finished his career with 310 saves, 1502 Ks and a 3.01 ERA.
